Jan-Eelco Jansma
Dr Ir Jan-Eelco Jansma is action-researcher city-region food systems at the Plant Sciences Group of Wageningen University & Research (NL). He holds a BSc and MSc in Agronomics, and a PhD in social sciences and planning. His ambition is to improve the balance between agriculture and societal needs. Over the past 25 years, he has studied the different perspectives of urban food systems, locally, nationally, and in the context of the EU, with a key focus on policy, planning and integration of urban and peri-urban agriculture.
